Hidden in a charming street at the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement, a few steps from the luxury boutiques of Avenue Montaigne, what was once a private mansion is now a unique five-star boutique hotel owned by Lebanese sisters Sara and Zeina Georges. Originally built in 1857, it was revamped into a mansion in 1923. In 1985, Sara and Zeina’s father Georges decided to redecorate the hotel in order to give each room distinctive decor, emphasizing the character of the former private house.
This vision is carried on since 2017 by these two sisters: “We feel blessed to have this little gem in our hands. Offering to our clients what has been instilled in us since little girls is pure delight. Our mother taught us the art of hospitality with generosity à la libanaise and our father showed us that no detail is to be overlooked.”
The hotel contains 30 rooms and 12 suites where “Colors vary from one room to another, from soft blues to flowery patterns, or from bright yellows to deep reds”. It was assessed by Vogue Arabia as “An intimate symbol of sophistication offering unparalleled French authenticity” as of May 2019.
