The National Beverages Company (SAL) announced today that it is shutting down permanently by end of May 2020 due to the economic and financial distress and the difficult conditions it is going through. The company has informed the Labor Ministry today of its decision, in order to preserve its rights and the rights of the employees therein, knowing that the company and factory offices will be closed from the date of 1/5/2020.

Coca Cola’s market share in Lebanon was small compared to Pepsi, but it still a big loss especially that hundreds will lose their jobs following this decision.
