First the monument was vandalized, then cleaned up, then destroyed and now the Lebanese Army has put another one back in place. The new monument is a donation from the Donnieh youth as mentioned here. To be honest, I knew there was a conflict over Qornet el Sawda but I had no idea things were so tense.
