A couple of weeks ago, a video emerged showing tons of toxic waste being illegally dumped daily into the notorious Burj Hammoud that was supposedly closed down years ago. Whenever there's a fire or an accident in Lebanon, you always see people rushing to help even if they have no clue what they're doing. The truth is they make things worse most of the time by either blocking the road to the ambulance or fire trucks or trying to help the wounded. I'm sure you've all got the voice note. If not, you must listen to it as it's hilarious. What's even funnier is that the prisoner seems pretty cool about taking that call and making jokes and demands, noting that he shouldn't have a phone in the first place. This reminds me of the time they found a 62 inch TV in one of the cells in Roumieh. A freakin' 62 inch TV!
