The Syndicate of professional artists in Lebanon issued a statement yesterday asking artists not to criticize or disrespect political parties or movements, and religious leaders. According to the statement, artists should work on promoting art and culture and refrain from engaging in political debates as per the syndicate's internal code. The ninth World Happiness Report ranked Lebanon in the 123rd spot worldwide, out of 149 countries, which constitutes a drop of over 30 spots from 2019 where we ranked 91st out of 150 countries.
