The Lebanese Army issued an apology for the traffic it caused today, not that it makes any difference after we got stuck for hours. The good news though is that there won't be any closed roads tomorrow.

While everyone was stuck in traffic for long hours this morning because of the Independence Day rehearsals, Zaatar wou Zeit took some requests from their Twitter followers and delivered Manakish to their cars.

According to this article, Salah Abdel-Maksoud, Egypt's Information Minister, has forbidden all Egyptian TVs from broadcasting any show including Haifa Wehbe or Elham Chahine. The article continues that Haifa's latest divorce from Egyptian businessman Ahmad Abu Hashima may have something to do with the ban. Funnily enough, this is the same minister that was accused of sexually harassing Dubai TV Host Zina Al Jarhi.
