Samer,
he looked like a stripper? how the hell did you see him like a stripper?
I know Americans would like the “I am gonna roll my sleeve and get rock and rolling”. Hariri managed to do it nicely and gave more theatrics to his speech BUT as much as you practice moves and as much as you pay for PR stunts you can never buy Charisma…
Devin,
Actually It is not charisma that is missing as much as an authentic Lebanese accent. His accent is just weird but it could something that makes it different from others.
Devin, I agree totally, his whole speech, including his recent advances in getting remotely close to a genuine Lebanese accent stink of Image Consultancy… not sure how many of the crowds bought his gigginess, but I’m not sold…
and however mentioned above that he got hot and took his jacket off…i propose you step out of your Naive bubble…
by the way, that goes for the other side as well…but i’m going to enjoy the Tsunami of jokes that will come in the coming weeks…
And whoever likens Saad’s sleeve rolling to Obama’s during his campaign is gravely mistaken… Obama and previous presidents of the U.S have been lifting sleeves and talking to his constituents in their Levi’s for decades, because they start as members of the people… they are not parachuted into leadership and then act their way down to the (people’s) levels. G W Bush is sort of an anomaly btw.

Now really? What’s Obama’s long list of achievements before he was elected? A speech at the DNC??
Dude, what makes the rolling up the sleeve your American domain?…and FYI GWB had a longer public service and a great record than your wonder boy from Hawaii.
Najib,
Charisma is not missing? I dont think he has one iota of charisma even when he is speaking English…and I am not sure if the Lebanese would love what he did, but I am sure all the babes of March 14 just went wild…that is enough reason to rejoice 🙂
Guys no politics on this blog. I am closing the comments here.
i tend to believe that it was rather planned than spontanuous.
Compared to the turbaned mullahs he more than kicked ass!! 😀
dude, friskies, of course it was planned and practiced again and again.
He felt hot so he took his jacket off! I don’t see why it’s such a big deal!!
and yet it looked cheesy and cheep not to mention pointless ….
he looks like a stripper rather than a youth….
and just when we thought things couldnt get any worse with this guy
hahahahhah
this is fuckin hillarious
http://bit.ly/gg73V6 this video is sexier .haha
samer get a life dude!!
