A ceremony was held today at Baabda Palace to honor one of Lebanon’s most esteemed journalists and reporters: Hoda Chedid. With over 30 years of service in the media industry, Chedid is currently working as a reporter for LBCI News, Annahar, and L’Orient le Jour. She has also served as a correspondent to the Presidential Palace for five terms.
The tribute was organized and attended by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and First Lady Nehmat Aoun. Hoda’s family, former Minister Mohammad Khalife, Head of the Media Office at the Presidency of the Republic Rafic Chalala, LBCI Board of Directors Head Pierre El-Daher, and other prominent figures from the media industry were also present.
Even while battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, Chedid continues to thrive as a reporter and journalist in the media world.
