Its gone now.
The Lebanese government really needs to amend those parking laws, its ridiculous. 2 hours maximum, what if someone is in the middle of a job? Also, parking ticket prices are ridiculous and whats even worse, is the methods they give you to pay. What a joke.
What happened was that every time I go to work, I have to park in those areas, because even though the building I work in has a parking, its full, and I have no idea where else to park. So earlier this week I was in an important meeting and I couldn’t just get up to leave to put money in the meter, and so it was my third parking ticket and they put that metal bolt on my wheel.
But its stupid, 2 hour limit. If you want to pay your parking ticket, you either pay at a Liban Post (and they charge you an extra 5 thou for every ticket you have), or pay at the parking meter. Does anyone carry that much change in their pockets? And those parking attendants are NEVER around whenever I want to buy a parking card. Its pretty unorganized and frustrating. Lets not forget, expensive.
Wednesday night, I got a call from my bro Patrick (who currently works in the same building that Najib works in), he tells me that he’s car got locked and he needed money to pay his fines. He requested I don’t tell my folks or mark. An hour later I get online, and I find the pics on the blog.
I freaking cracked up feeling sorry for my bro Patrick who wanted to keep it a secret 😀
I know where the Sofil center is and the Church facing it has an underground parking. Most employees who work in that center either park there or under the center itself.
If you still didn’t know what i am talking about, check the picture, the first turn on your right leads you to the parking.
Ba3den take this positively. Your car is famous now !
The church has an underground parking? I’ll have to check it out next week. I can’t park under the center since there isn’t any room left for Leo Burnett employees.
Actually, funny story about my car being famous. When I parked my car today, the security guard of Bank Audi asked me what happened with my car and what I had to do to get it removed. So I guess this is my 15 minutes of fame. lol
You need to subscribe monthly to the Church Parking i think. That’s what i do. You need to ask them though if there are still places. Ask your colleagues, they should know about this. I am guessing not all of them park in the Sofil Center.
Also, From the other side of the center where there’s this fancy restaurant Le Maillon, cars are parking in front of the center, no park meter whatsoever, but you need to come really early to find a spot. The whole parallel street to the main Tabaris one has no park meters.

Oh so he’s your friend ?
Any reason why he/she left his/her car that way??
is that my brothers car???
lol yeah just confirmed, its my brothers car.

how did it happen? and why r u parking in those spots instead of the empty lots? or are there no empty lots in the area?
No more empty lots in the area. All paid. But why did they bust the car ? How long did he keep it parked ?

Najib you busted the poor kid LOL
what a fucking weird coincidence that his car ended up on the blog. really weird.
Sorry Patrick but
HAHAHAHAHAHA !
By the way, if you are now working there, you should be allowed to park in the Church parking.
Mark: I needed to pay my unpaid parking tickets.
Najib: Church parking? What church parking? I work in Sofil Center (or whatever its called), the building with the movie theater underneath.
And seriously. How shitty is my luck for my car to end up on this blog the same night this happened?
