First we had the Janna dam and now the Bakaatit Kanaan dam. Is it so damn hard to get someone to do the job properly? I mean everyone needs water even the officials so why can’t they steal some money but at least do a proper job?

Any damn by definition is against nature and have consequences on environment.
But damns are build to help humans gather water.
So rather than criticizing the shallow effects on environment (very shallow) better ask for more damns.

Do you have any doubt that ALL our Lebanese officials, if not the majority, are corrupt and steal money?
I have no idea who started this dam. All I know is that no one knows how to end a freaking project in this country or does it wrong from the start.
