We were at the special screening of Wonder Woman last night at Vox Cinemas when I was told by a friend that they might be banning the movie in Lebanon because the lead actress Gal Gadot is Israeli. However and as confirmed (unofficially) this morning, the movie won’t be banned even though Lebanon’s Ministry of Economy has requested for it to get banned.
Apparently, the same ministry has also requested for Batman vs Superman to get banned as well since Gadot is featured in the movie as well. The ministry has the مكتب مقاطعة اسرائيل which handles such matters. What’s funny is how selective these boycott groups are. No one made a fuss about Wonder Woman but they raised hell when Gad el Maleh was visiting.

We should listen less and read fewer bullshit reports in Al-Akhbar newspaper. Let’s not give them the luxury of replying to the lousy posts of some bipolar journalists.
They’re willing to denounce southern air as it comes from Israel, Palestine, occupied territories or whatever they want to call it.
