India never came to mind when Zaatar W Zeit was talking about expanding, but they just announced on the @zaatarwzeitindia Instagram account that they’ll be opening in Mumbai soon. In fact, they shared a reel about it a while back, but I must have missed it.
Zaatar W Zeit already has outlets in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Bahrain, and Canada. I visited the Vancouver outlet last year, and it felt like I was eating in Lebanon.
I’m eager to see how they’ll adapt their menu to Indian tastes and what the outlet will look like. Best of luck to the ZWZ team!
