The deadly explosion that killed two Lebanese Army Soldiers yesterday led to a wave of support from all the Lebanese for the army’s efforts to capture these terrorist cells and suicide bombers. One of the two army martyrs, Officer Elias Khoury, apparently ordered his men to stay back and headed alone to interrogate the driver who looked suspicious. Unfortunately, two of his men followed him before the suicide bomber detonated his explosives killing Elias, Hamzeh and a passerby.
Like I said in previous occasions, there’s nothing we can do against suicide bombers except wait for them to run out.
“Like I said in previous occasions, there’s nothing we can do against suicide bombers except wait for them to run out.”
i hope they wont take into consideration what you just said!
suicide bombers will never run out and yes we can do something about it but this requires a support and a green light from all politicians to the army so they can to attack and capture any fractions in any region that supports or feeds these maniacs. foreign intelligence services can also help if they wish so
but waiting for suicide bomber to run out is really a stupid thing to say
take a look at Iraq and let me know what you think
Lea,
I am not talking about stopping the bombings or taking proper security measures. When it comes to suicide bombers, there’s nothing you can do to prevent casualties as the people arresting him will risk their lives if he detonates his belt. That’s all I meant here.
Even if you support everyone in Lebanon, he could get passed the borders and detonate himself etc …
Of course I dont want to wait for them to run out but its almost impossible to protect yourself from such attacks. Even the Israelis who have the strictest measures are prone to such attacks. If you look at my previous posts, you will see how many suggestions I have given the security forces to adopt and prevent further bombings.
