A while back, the ISF arrested a man accused of stealing $50,000. The thief admitted to blackmailing a man in Achrafieh by sending him a fake bomb and asking him for money, he also said that he got inspired from a movie that he had seeing recently.

While we’re all glad the victim was unhurt and got his money back, I couldn’t help but think of the movie he got inspired from, and I couldn’t find any. I thought at first of “30 minutes or less” or “The box” but there’s no fake bomb in them. It could be a Netflix series for all I know, but nothing comes to mind.
