Beirut’s Airport was expected to open by June 8 as part of the government’s de-confinement plan but it looks like the decision will be pushed towards the end of June instead. Public Works Minister hinted June 21 might be the official reopening date and Beirut Airport’s head also mentioned it will open in the last week of June.
The plan is to gradually resume limited flights so as to avoid overcrowding as much as possible, while taking all the necessary measures from social distancing, virus prevention etc ..
