The Lebanese village Kab Elias, located in the Bekaa, prepared the largest fattoush plate in the world, weighing up to 4432 Kg to enter the Guinness book of records.
It took 100 people working for 3 hours and 20 minutes and involved the following ingredients:
85 kilos of Ba2le.
150 kilos of tomato.
105 kilos of onions.
105 kilos of radish.
42 kilos of na3na3.
1050 kilos of cucumber.
315 kilos of lettuce.
126 kilos of semma2.
30 kilos of salt.
210 kilos of olive oil.
336 kilos of lemon sauce.
336 kilos of bread.
what the hell is up with Lebanese people and their over sized plates 😛 this is really interesting , and i guess other than israeli-lebanese reasons , it might also be for tourism attraction reasons as well.
Isn’t Kab Elias next to Chtoura, in the Bekaa??
U r right zaydoun, i fixed it.
Another waste. All I can say is that I hope this food isn’t gone to waste.
It took a Kuwaiti to point out the geographical error? 🙂
