Live Love Beirut shared today a picture of Chekka's Christmas eco-friendly tree, which was completed and broke the Guinness World Record of the largest tree made from recycled plastic bottles. The tree is 28.5 meters high and consists of 129k plastic bottles, versus 98k bottles for the previous record holder. Thumbs up to Caroline Chaptini and everyone who helped make this happen!

Lebanon24 reported last week that the Beirut Bar Association has agreed to send 500 lawyers to all Lebanese prisons on December 22 in an attempt to determine which prisoners: 1- Don't have a lawyer yet. 2- Are still jailed despite serving their sentence 3- Need a minimal financial support to bail out The lawyers will also prepare a detailed report on all prisons and prisoners.
