ELIE SAAB is teaming up with London College of Fashion to create a new fashion degree: Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design in collaboration with Elie Saab, at the Lebanese American University, which has campuses in Beirut and Byblos. The degree is the result of a joint effort between the three parties to bring world-class fashion design to Lebanon.
“The vision behind LAU’s fashion design program was to offer the region’s students an education of the highest possible international standards without having to travel too far from home,” said Saab – who is honorary chairman of the programme and is still based in Lebanon. “I am pleased with the agreement, which is a major step toward creating a regional hub for talented designers.” [Vogue]

who would enrole? students who drive 100,000 USD cars and haven’t worked for a penny all their stupid lives and wouldn’t find it a good idea to go to Milano where nobody gives a shit what tey are driving to come to study…that’s who…i bet you the courses will be fully booked..
Excuse me, but i was an LAU student, i had some friends who drove 100k cars, and believe me some of them work more than you do, and do not lead stupid lives.
