OldBeirut shared an interesting post last week on Lebanon’s first international top model Andrée Acouri. Andree, also known as Câline/Andréa, according to the same source, is a model from the 1960s and 1970s who was featured on several fashion & lifestyle magazines, and has walked the runway shows for Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Nina Ricci, Jean Patou, Maggy Rouff and more.

I tried looking for more information or some videos but I didn’t find any. However, Andree is active on Instagram and often shares old pictures from her modeling days, like this collaboration with Chanel.
