I woke up to what sounded like a truck crashing into a wall. I wasn’t too far off; it was the sound of a truck breaking the concrete wall of our building, knocking over an electricity pole, crashing into the parking lot, totaling 1 car, damaging another one and bending the gate of the building.
The driver jumped out of the cabin Indiana Jones style right before the crash. Thankfully no one was hurt.
Damn that’s where I used to park! Thank God no one got hurt indeed .. ken 2eja 3a balcon 3andak lawou nat 😛
u should have mentioned “may be scratched a bit”

Can we get the CarFax for the car?
Yalla!!
Free CARFAX Reports this week only. Send me your VIN #’s. This offer expires 9/17/2011.
“This is no joke! I am a dealer here in Florida and I have an unlimited account.”
10$
Is the car still on sale? I’ll be in Lebanon in 2 weeks and need a mode of transportation.
It would be funny for us bidding on this car, i can’t imagine the feeling of it’s owner.
Anyway , i think the driver of such truck should be tortured! well i’m not violent, but i’m sure that most of those who saw these pictures would agree that such Truck drivers should be tortured and the torture should be diffused on all sort of medias in order to be a lesson for all other truck drivers!
Imagine that the car owner was in the car and willing to move a way the moment that animal (Truck Driver) lost control of his truck!
My apologies to all animals , but i couldn’t find a worse acceptable expression to describe that IDIOT!
@Choura2yak.. while i agree profusely with you, i drove everyday to the mountains, and truck racing was a too familiar scene, however, this poor guy is innocent, on tv he said that the brakes died and the truck just couldnt be stopped..
i guess Chahe could bring a clearer insight?
@A don’t you think that if he was caring for the maintenance of his breaks, the breaks wouldn’t died at that particular moment and thus kill a poor Mazda 6 that Rami is willing to buy for 10 USD now?
His story was that the brakes were not working anymore, so he steered the truck onto the side road, which was a good thing coz if he had stayed on the main road he probably would’ve killed someone. He tried to stop the truck by grinding it against the wall. He must have been going pretty fast to shave off an electric pole!
Sareen, the car is from the official dealer in Lebanon, so no carfax 🙂
Dude, why do you wanna torture him? Just put him in prison and let him pay a huge fine. What the hell?
uf deghreh hate and torture?? what if it’s not his fault? balkeh m3atar l zalameh w ma b7ayeto ezeh 7adan?? u wanna torture him because his truck fell on a car??? shou bta3mil bi murderers laken aw rapists??
wel ahamm men el murderers wel rapists?? el nouwweb wel wouzara masalan 😛
Raoger, please can you check CARFAX report for this on “WBAET37422NG73238”
guys just an info on the brakes of big trucks.
the brakes mechanism of a big truck work on gas this is why you always hear the sound of a gas leak everytime you pass one in a descend.
so the driver of the truck has to hit on the brakes every once in a while in order to release the pressure of the gas on the brakes and be able to use them safely or else they will be dead.
so this peace of ….. of a driver is not as innocent as he seems, not to forget that the truck WAS FULL of sand another reason for him to be driving slowly in the first place.
plus i’ll pay 50$ for the MAZDA
😉

Roger!! thank you very much!! yup indeed that’s what we have in the lebanese market…
If you’re in the market for a used car in Lebanon, you should check out Expo Nour in Dekwaneh Square. They are one of the few dealers in Lebanon who purchase cars from us and I highly recommend them. They have a good selection of clean cars at reasonable prices.
Tell them Roger from Orlando, Florida sent you!
Alright, will do … Thank you 🙂 🙂 🙂

Hello Roger,

This car came from Hawaii, so I would pay close attention to salt water and rust damage.
So we can trust you with cars to buy in Lebanon?
Will email you today.
Thanks Much Roger;
Najib – as per Roger, you can check cars at Expo Nour in Dekwaneh (Highly Recommended by him)
Hey Najib,
We’ve been in the business since 1995, and we’ve been exporting cars to Lebanon and the Middle East for the last 10 years.
You can check out our inventory and see what we’re all about at http://www.mikeauto.net.
Our preferred dealer in Lebanon, as Omar pointed out, is Expo Nour in Dekwaneh. We also used to work with H Gregoire in Dbaye, but they are closing their doors after just a couple of years at that nice new location (if they haven’t already). I hear that a motorcycle dealer is taking over.
Feel free to contact me with any auto-related questions. I’ll be glad to help.
Hello Roger,
I’m searching for a used Honda-CRV 2008-2010 in Lebanon, and I found some, but I want to check the VIN numbers, i treid to buy the reports through carfax.com but they’re not accepting internation CC, they want some CC issued in the US. Is the carfax offer available for this year as well? (free VIN reports for a certain period of time?)
Best,
Oamr
so thats what happened! I passed from there and saw the broken fence and flattened mazda and was wondering what the hell had happened. How did that truck overturn anyways?
No brakes.
