The Raclette Brgr with Cheese fries at Brgrco
Since Burger Day was on May 28, I thought of sharing with you the list of burgers that I usually crave in Lebanon. The burgers were selected from restaurants, burger joints, diners and fast food chains that I’ve been to in the past years.
1- The Butcher’s Cut at Brgrco
This 6 Oz Hussein Hadid signature burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in Lebanon. I usually order it with mature English cheddar on top and cheese fries on the side.
2- Gourmet Burger at Eau de Vie – Phoenicia Hotel
I wasn’t expecting to see a burger on Eau De Vie’s menu but their 50,000LL gourmet burger is quite amazing.
3- The Cheeseburger at Happy Prince – Mar Mikhail
Happy Prince’s burger is a must-have and comes in limited quantities. Read my review [Here].
4- Swiss’N’Mushroom Burger at Classic Burger Joint
Even though I find their burgers a bit bulky, the Swiss’N’Mushroom is a great burger and my favorite at CBJ.
5- Fit’N’Burger At Roadster Diner
The Fit’N’Burger was introduced as part of Roadster’s light menu and is a great burger. It contains grilled patty, rocket leaves, grilled onions, grilled tomatoes, grilled fresh mushrooms and a Light Homestyle sauce. I couldn’t find a picture to be honest so I borrowed one from Roadster’s Facebook page.
6- Spiel Mozzarella Burger at Crepaway
This has been Crepaway’s signature burger for years. It comes with a thick chunk of deep-fried mozzarella.
7- Shack Stack at Shake Shack
The Shack Stack is a cheeseburger and a ‘shroom burger topped with lettuce, tomato and ShakeSauce. Get the awesome Shake Shack’s cheese fries as well.
8- Ferdi burger at Ferdinand – Hamra
Meat patty, bacon and blueberry jam on top. Add to that a great bun and you have an awesome burger!
9- Cheese Burgers at McDonald’s
I usually order them plain without the ketchup and onions and get McDonald’s BBQ sauce and dip them in it.
10- Big King XXL at Burger King
That’s the only burger I have at Burger King.
I am sure there are other burgers that I should try but these are the ones that first came to my mind and that I’ve had quite a few times in the past years (Except the Eau De vie one). Of course I sometimes miss having these big bulky Lebanese burgers with coleslaw and fries but I can’t think of any decent snack that makes them these days. I remember a small place called Khoury Inn in Dekwaneh that made good Lebanese burgers but I am not sure if it’s still open.
have you tried the dry aged burger at the happy prince? it is to die for! i loved it
No I didn’t and I am not sure I wanna go through the Happy Prince experience again because last time it took me 3 tries to find a table and have their burger 🙂
I’m glad you included Mcdo and BK, yes they might not be the best but they’re still yummy and quick 🙂
As for Ferdinand, I think they closed it? Or are at least renovating.. I walked past it couple of weeks ago and it was closed.
it is unfortunately gone … along with their infamous burger 🙁 what a shame this is\was the original best burger in town long before happy prince and frosty palace … am still looking for that special burger.
Did you try Marky’s Philly Joint?
I didn’t really like the burger I’ve tried there.. but my friend loved his burger..
I tried it once so I can’t judge!
I’ve tried it and hated it.
Well it seems I am not the only one :D….
Oh my gosh, YUM!
Hey you should try All Americans, it’s a super delicious food stand that serves the best burgers in Baabda, with true American style
Will put it on my list.
What about Frosty Palace?
What about Secteur 75?
What about Garden State?
What about Iris mini burgers?
You should try all the above 🙂 and update your chart accordingly 😀
However I fully agree with you on the Top of the list.
Frosty Palace: Been there 3 times and couldn’t find a place to sit.
Secteur 74 and Garden State: Never been there.
Mini burgers don’t count as burgers 😀
Cuban at Roadsters!
I’m disappointed that McDonald’s and Burger King made the cut.
Have you tried Captain Cook’s???? ♡
Very honest review btw! Coz yes sometimes we just crave for a mc do cheeseburger! The small one that comes with just a cheddar slice, 1 pickle and ketchup 🙂 the only one i dont agree with u on is shake shack!
Oh and abt that home style lebanese burger, boubouffe used to make a great one stuffed with coleslaw 🙂 u should give it a try..
did you try hani’s egg burger? it’s really good.. Hani’s is located in Raouche.
Brgr co. Is also my first choice, u feel like it’s homemade. I disagree with you on shake shack, I found it to be rather greasy.
Never forget to order a free fries refill at classic burger. They tend not to remind you of that option, but you can order as many refills as you want
Naj , you should try the “Big Bite” burger at lord of the wings … Its one of my favorites
u did name all the burger joints in leb, but forgot the best one, frosty palace burger! yummy
Hi Najib, we are glad that Rd’s Fit ‘n Burger is on the top of your list! It is just another reminder that Low Cal items are just as delicious at Rd! We will be in touch very soon for more burgers for you to try! 😉
Must try the burgers at Deek Duke too!
I may suggest munchease at khaldeh a small kiosk with a yummi mushroom burger and marky’s at mekalles
The baconin at Roadsters is to die for
Also, theres smoking bun in mar mikhael that makes good burgers
I tried frostys and its good but not worth the money in my opinion.
Happy Prince was good, I was happy I tried it.
I also agree that mini burgers aren’t considered burgers hehe.
frosty palace’s burger is not to miss!
Adding Mcdonalds’ and Burger King screwed up the whole list.
Roadster Burgers are all smelly.
What should have been really added is the Deek burger of Deek Duke.
At the end of the pub street in Hamra there’s a small snack called Roasters, the owner does this for a hobby and he loves it. I highly suggest you go try the Sloppy Joe he makes, you’ll forget about all other burgers.
I suggest you all go try munchease… Its a little wooden shack located on khaldeh highway serving cheesy mind blowing burgers that will take u to the next level of food experience!
Munchease would be the best burger experience u can embark, I live in California and I never thought I might taste something like that here in Lebanon
