There were some tense moments in the past few days in the parliament where MPs were debating the new government’s Policy Statement. Jamil al-Sayyed engaged in a verbal dispute with Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, MP Nadim Gemayel had a heated despite with Hizbullah MP Nawaf Musawi and last but not least, May Chidiac & Mohammad Fneish were forced to sit next to each other, but kept avoiding eye contact during the whole session.

Luckily for us, Photographer Nabil Ismail captured some of these moments with his lens and shared them on his page. It wouldn’t hurt Fneish to welcome Minister Chidiac, even if he doesn’t like her, out of courtesy. Who knows? Maybe May would have given him one of her smartphones to play games because he seemed bored 😂
