Ogero is taking part as an exhibitor at the Mobile World Congress 2017 this year. The above picture of the stand was tweeted by Ogero and shows Lebanon’s map with “Internet of things” written all over it. Ever since Abdel Menhem Youssef was ousted and replaced Imad Kreidieh as Ogero head, we’ve been some changes and we’re been promised a better internet within months.
I think it’s a bit too early to talk about “the internet of things” in Lebanon but if fiber optics are implemented soon and cheap & abundant internet is made available to all, then things can change real fast. Let’s hope for the best 🙂
If anyone is attending #MWC2017, pass by Ogero stand and let us know what they’re up to.
Stand would cost $1M and last to be installed. You know, speed and corruption.
