Lebanon’s Energy Minister Walid Fayyad signed yesterday a deal to purchase electricity from Jordan via Syria. If you haven't met yet our new Public Works & Transport Minister, he was on TV the other day claiming that Lebanon never had a transportation crisis before 2019, and that the government never really considered enhancing the public transportation network because everyone had a car. Remember the story I shared a week ago about the old man selling books under a bridge? It appears that someone has set fire to his small kiosk and burned all his books. I don't know what evil mind would do that, but I'm trying to figure out how we could help the old man find a proper shelter and maybe get him back a small kiosk to sell his books.
