Thousands of people who disappeared during the war in Lebanon and its aftermath are still missing today. Since the war ended, the government made a few, limited attempts to clarify the fate of the missing persons, but these did not succeed. It's been more than 20 years that the Lebanese Civil war is over and we still have over 17,000 disappeared. This is quite a shocking number and an embarrassing one for all of us…

Via Beirut.com Some Lebanese are desperately trying to keep bombs away from their cars and trying to gain the criminals' sympathy. Whomever wrote this meant is as a joke but come to think of it, insurance companies in Lebanon don't cover your losses if your car is totaled in an explosion, unless you pay some extra free, and the bank will still want his money even if your car is gone!
