In January 2011, the Saifi Institute for Arabic Language introduced “Let’s talk dirty with Marc,†the first Arabic class to teach foreigners Lebanese curse words within a cultural context.
“One of my students came to class one day after cursing an old man, who had called her a bad name. She immediately responded with the typical, ‘your mother,’ and he was apparently dumbfounded. She was very proud of herself,†explained Ghazar.

was backpacking through turkey some 12 years ago, argued with an Ozzie, and finished it with a K*&^ I(*&^%, he replied with an Arabic curse, turns out his best friend is Lebanese and taught him the entire useful arabic vocab…we both laughed our heads up, i was dumbfounded, and he was proud of being finally able to use Arabic cursing in anger…
