We all grew up in Lebanon listening to “Ton Amie Liliane” songs and watching her plays. I was more of a “Captain Majed” fan myself but we barely had a couple of TV stations with a very limited number of shows to watch. C33 was the best channel ever but it was illegal of course and got closed down.

In all cases, Ton Amie Liliane is retiring soon and passing the flame to her daughter Lara Rain, who’s a renowned Lebanese actress. Lara’s debut will be with a new play called “Queen of the Seasons” that will kick off in Lebanon soon.

Best of luck to Lara and for all “Ton Amie Liliane” fans, this will be your last chance to see her on stage.
