Almaza posted the teaser photo a couple of days ago but it looks like it’s already out. It’s called the Radler and it’s basically beer and lemon. I’ll pass by a supermarket today see if they got it and try it out. The last beer they released (Light Almaza) was quite good but I still prefer the original Almaza.

I’d rather drink a Smirnoff ice…this isn’t beer but a cleverly disguised alcopop. Flavor isn’t too bad, but there is better. Can’t quite figure out what is going on with the naming scheme either.
A radler (known as a Radlermass in germany) is a beer/ sparkling water and lemon mix, it is a light summer drink. It’s what germans drink when they don’t want something very alcoholic nor a light beer. However beer enthusiasts won’t necessarily be exited about it, and if they end up liking it they’ll be embarrassed to admit it. First it was the Light beer and now the radler almaza is aiming to appeal to the casual beer drinker that doesn’t necessarily likes “reel” beer.
Btw there are many radler recipes online and you can make your own at home, it’s not that it’s prepared during any of the brewing process or anything…
Thanks for clearing that up and the naming makes sense, though its still in my opinion, a goofy name 🙂
I don’t mind the occasional alcopop now and then but I’d rather have some french cider from Normandy, though even at it’s cheapest its more expensive than a bottle of almaza.
I just tried it and couldn’t drink more than 2 sips
It tastes very bad
