No, Lebanon is not an affordable country nor a hot spot for tourist as some would like it to be, yet the best thing, and probably only thing, we can do this summer is promote domestic tourism.

A lot of Lebanese are escaping the city to spend some quality time with their families in the mountains or on beaches and guest houses. With the constant electricity cuts, water shortage and COVID restrictions, it’s a breath of fresh air.

The video below aims at promoting domestic Lebanon by shedding light on several towns like Anfeh, Anjar, Bcharre, Batroun, Barouk, Douma, Jezzine and others. I just wish someone would take the Tourism Ministry logo out of it, especially when we have a Minister hiding behind a bunch of thugs assaulting activists.
