For the second year in a row, we have a Lebanese film nominated for an Oscar. This time, Nadine Labaki's Capernaum was officially nominated for an Oscar under the Best Foreign Language Film category. Labaki also made history by becoming the first female Arab filmmaker ever to be nominated for an Oscar. The winners will be announced on February 24 during the Oscars ceremony.
