The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation stated today that “it has reached no firm conclusion about what caused the Aug. 4 explosion in the port of Beirut that killed nearly 200 people and caused billions of dollars in damage.”

The FBI, along with other U.S. and European government agencies, are only assisting Lebanese security agencies in their probe, which has been ongoing for over two months now without any output. Judge Fadi Sawan was provided with the FBI report, but he gave no details about its content.

We’ve been waiting for this investigation to be conclude for two months now, after we were promised it should only take five days.
