ELIE SAAB is teaming up with London College of Fashion to create a new fashion degree: Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design in collaboration with Elie Saab, at the Lebanese American University, which has campuses in Beirut and Byblos. The degree is the result of a joint effort between the three parties to bring world-class fashion design to Lebanon.

“The vision behind LAU’s fashion design program was to offer the region’s students an education of the highest possible international standards without having to travel too far from home,” said Saab – who is honorary chairman of the programme and is still based in Lebanon. “I am pleased with the agreement, which is a major step toward creating a regional hub for talented designers.” [Vogue]
