Ramco replaced Sukleen and started collecting garbage in Beirut back in May after winning a $70 million tender over a 5-year period. The company will pick up 650 tons of waste per day and has promised to place 250 underground collection points across the capital, in an attempt to reduce odor and deter pests. These underground bins are more aesthetically appealing and more practical but I hope they're not considering placing them near main roads…

I shared the MEZZA Beer commercial a while back because I loved it. It's catchy and creative and my favorite part was the continuous head shaking throughout the ad. However, someone SOMEHOW managed to get offended by this ad and filed a complaint to the Ministry of Information.
