After winning Lebanon's best mixologist title back in July, Sapa Beirut's Mike Kassabian flew to Mexico to represent Lebanon in the global finales and won the FIRST Prize in Cocktails at Home Challenge! The Lebanese Heritage FB page shared a short video of a 1957 journey by German journalists to Beirut, Jordan, Palestine, Syria and Iraq. The video shows parts of Beirut, the Cedars, Baalbeck and aerial views of the Lebanese coast. Lebanon's largest statue of St Charbel was finally installed today in Faraya on top of the Mount of the Cross. The long monument, which weighs 40 tons, was built with highly durable materials and has a lifespan of hundreds of years.
