Four months after launching the first IMAX theater in Lebanon, VOX Cinemas just opened the first 4DX Movie Theater in Lebanon! 4DX is a motion picture technology that allows a motion picture presentation to be augmented with environmental effects such as seat motion, wind, rain, fog, lights, and scents along with the standard video and audio. Basically it's a new immersive technology that features moving seats and environmental effects. Not all movies will be shown…

A group of students from l'Institut moderne du Liban in Fanar were assaulted by the workers while protesting against cutting of old trees next to their school. Workers threw rocks at them and insulted them and their school. Police intervened and arrested the workers in question but the Construction foreman showed the cops the permission he received from the Environment Ministry to take down these trees, noting that some of these were 200 years old…

It was a proud moment seeing Brian climb on the couch the first time but once we realized he loves to climb everything and anything, it becomes a serious issue. It started with the couch, chairs then the living room table and more recently he's been seeking new heights and has managed somehow to climb out of his bed. He's also a fast climber so we're really worried he's going to fall and injure himself.…
