In few hours, I'm heading to Amman courtesy of the Jordan Tourism Board. I will be spending a week in Jordan visiting the main sites and attractions and enjoying all the activities they've prepared for us. They sent me a couple of days ago the schedule and it includes attending the Pope's mass, visiting the Baptism site, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, the Dead Sea and Nebo among other things. Telecom Minister Boutros Harb announced today the new rates in regards to the DSL and 3G in Lebanon. Unlike what was previously announced, the rates will be effective starting July 1st and not June 1st. It looks like Qatar has given today Tele Liban the rights to broadcast the 2014 World Cup, which means all the Lebanese will get to watch the World Cup for free. Update: "Sama" is denying the news but Tele Liban posted about it and I guess it's just a matter of time now before they confirm it.
