Almost 200 international Maker Faire take place around the world every year in cities including Tokyo, Rome, Shenzhen, Taipei, Seoul, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, San Diego, Cairo, Dubai and many more. This year, the world’s largest celebration of invention, creativity, curiosity and hands-on learning is coming to Beirut on Saturday April, 6th from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM at Antwork, Kantari, Spears.

The flagship festival, World Maker Faire New York takes place at New York Hall of Science on September 22nd & 23rd and will feature more than 800 projects and multiple stages including projects and making for social good, health, food, technology, and the latest developments in microelectronics, 3D printing, food, drones, robotics, and more. Each faire features interactive art installations, exciting workshops, hands-on activities and learning with something for makers of all ages and skill level.

You will be able to meet tens of creative makers and designers, as well as inspirational local and international makers and artists. There are areas for Multi-Sensory, Techno Arts, Green zone and Future of Architecture. Make sure to bring your kids as well as there are tons of hands-on activities offered at the Young Makers Corner.
