Nahnoo NGO shared a live video from inside Horsh Beirut yesterday and stated that the Harsh has finally reopened to the public after a 3-month closure. Beirut's largest green space was closed down after its pine trees came under renewed threat from invasive insects but the problem was contained a month ago. The authorities are still treating some trees inside though. It's definitely good news but the real problem is still elsewhere. We need more…

Lebanese graffiti and street artist Yazan Halwani won gold in the "Peinture" category at the 2017 Jeux de la Francophonie which are currently being held in Abidjan. Les Jeux de la Francophonie are held every four years and combine artistic and sporting events for French-speaking nations.
