Nadine Labaki's award winning "Capharnaum" will start showing in Lebanon on September 20, according to the movie's FB page. Labaki became the first Lebanese female director to win the Jury Prize at Cannes this year, and the first Arab filmmaker to win an official Cannes competition award in 12 years. The movie is about a 12-year old boy who is suing his own parents for bringing him to this life. Check out the trailer:

When the trailer for "Beirut" came out, almost everyone wanted that movie banned and I remember a certain ministry wanting to file a lawsuit against it.
