I missed out on new Ogero Head Imad Kreidieh's talk at Arabnet this year but I just read an article where he's promising to "double or triple the internet speed by end of March", which is next week! PM Hariri had already promised a 20 times faster internet within months. I'm guessing the speed increase will be most notably in Beirut so I'll run a speed test next week at the office and see how…

In the past six months or more, I've been spending on average $15 as extra MB consumption on my primary mobile internet plan. I'm also consuming all 10GB on my 4G dongle and secondary line despite having WIFI at home and at work.
