I’ve never been to Las Vegas or to a CES expo before so it’s pretty exciting to be here with the LG Levant team to attend The International Consumer Electronics Show 2016, one of the world’s most renowned and biggest electronics and technology trade shows.
Of course I will be enjoying my time in Vegas as well, especially that it’s my first visit to the US and more specifically to Vegas so if you have any tips on things to do here please do share. The trip was a hectic one unfortunately as security checks took a lot of time in Chicago and Amman but you can’t really blame anyone for being too cautious these days.
Anyway, I’m here in Vegas now and a couple of hours away from the much-anticipated LG Press conference prior to the CES 2016 opening where they will be announcing among other things an impressive 18-inch rollable OLED TV, or in other words a TV that rolls up like a piece of paper. This might be this year’s most exciting announcement so stay tuned as I will be covering it and other announcements live.
You can follow me on twitter @LeNajib and Instagram @LeNajib and on the blog’s Facebook page [here]. You could also follow the hashtag #LGrocksCES.

LG also recently launched the V10, an impressive new smartphone and a major upgrade from the previous LG G4. I will be reviewing it soon and how it’s different from the G4 which is one of my favorite smartphones from 2015.
Welcome to the USA !!!!
Hope you enjoy your time in our country 🙂
Cirque du Soleil shows , Hoover Dam, and Grand Canyan trip
Enjoy your stay
^ what he said + dinner at Mon Ami Gabi + Skywalk at the Grand Canyon
Dude,
You should have said something…I would have joined you:)
Stay away from the porno convention though…They follow the tecky geeks every year in LV.
Have dinner at Olives at Bellagio sitting outside on the terrace. It is amazing…
Nice restos at Palazzo…
Have fun.
Food wise: Must try the vegas buffets:
Top picks would be:
1-Baachanel Buffet at the Ceasers ( definitely worth the wait)
2-Wicked spoon at the cosmpolitan
Other must have food options include:
1-mon ami gabi at the paris hotel- make sure you get a table facing the bellagio fountains
2-Canaletto at the venetian ( its located in teh canal shops) would definitely recommend the caneloni there as well as their pizzas
3- Serendipity 3 at Ceasers ( their portions are huuuge and the desserts are to die for)
4- Gordon Ramseys burger joint at Planet Hollywood ( order his secret burger its not on the menu) ( it includes duck bacon and eggs its to die for)
Must watch shows:
to get a nice feel of vegas you have to watch the shows. You cant go wrong with any but given time constraints I think you should watch two. You must see a cirque du soleil and I would also recommend david copperfield. As for the cirque du soleil their all fascinating in their own way but there are some that stand out more than others. My top pick would be LE REVE. Truly is something out of this world.
Make sure you walk around and check out all the hotels. Each has something nice to offer. If your in the mood for something loungy after lunch or dinner make sure to check out the lakeside cafe at the Wynn Hotel. They have an amazing water show and the view is just to die for. Great for drinks and a cigar before heading out for a night on the town.
If you want to get a feel of the nightlife this city has it all.
Top clubs in my personal opinion include:
Omnia at Ceasers ( steve aoki is performing there wednesday)
Club XS at the Wynn
Marquee at the Cosmopolitan
Hakkasan at MGM
If you would like to be on the guestlist of certain places there are promoters out there tha will do that for you
Must go to after hours is: Drai’s at the Cromwell ( will go way into the early hours of the morning)
Its too bad the pool party season is closed off till another few months that is one of the best things to do in vegas.
If you have some free time hit the alleyway near the LINQ they have a nice little ferris wheel that shows you the whole vegas view.
Also- THe stratosphere hotel which is just a minute or 2 off the strip has some amazing adventure rides on the top floor open till 2 am. you can actually bungee jump off the top floor(130th i believe)
If your looking to get a more authentic feel of what the locals do and get tired of the scene on the strip make sure you head towards freemont street. It is what was called the Old vegas. Definitely worth checking out.
If your looking into expensive shopping then youll find that all over the strip otherwise if you have some time to spare make sure you go to the outlets off the strip they are HUGE and you will find great deals on everything.
If you need any help please let me know
Enjoy it and remember this: “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”!
Hahaha ! yeah and try not to get up with a Tiger in your room ! 😛
