I was just reading that President Aoun warned yesterday "that the grave economic situation, presence of Syrian refugees and the reluctance of Lebanese to take low-paid jobs has caused unemployment to soar to 46 percent", which is higher than any unemployment rate I've heard in the past 5 years. Burger King announced yesterday that it is launching a special edition of our Whopper made entirely with chocolate & candied ingredients available only on Sunday April 1, which also happens to be April Fools' Day. It's probably a joke but this is a tempting idea that they should seriously consider for World Chocolate Day or some other occasion. The world's largest passenger airliner, the Airbus A380 has landed in Beirut today at around 10AM for the first time. The flight is operated by Emirates Airlines and will depart from Beirut at 1415hrs arriving in Dubai at 1905hrs on the same day.
