As you've probably noticed by now, there are new garbage trucks roaming our streets instead of the old green Sukleen trucks. The new ones are operated by Ramco and it's written all over them that they're "powered by Euro 5 enhanced eco-friendly engines to reduce air pollution", which I guess is a good thing. The ISF shared a picture yesterday of a car with an illegal license plate that says "3ala Sale3te Bitbale3te". The driver will be fined somewhere between 1 million and 3 million liras according to the new traffic law. It's funny because on my way to Kobayat the other day, I spent my time counting the cars with no license plate numbers on the way. Someone should give this guy some credit for putting something up…

Every Sunday, reckless and dangerous drag races are organized all over Lebanon in broad day light and the police is nowhere to be seen. Sometimes road are blocked and other times they just race on the highway endangering the lives of other motorists. Needless to say, police is nowhere to be seen. Someone basically dug out a 20 year old song called "Who stole the pole?" and everyone's sharing it on Facebook lately and making jokes out of it . The singer apparently had a love story with a certain pole and one day it was gone so he wrote a song about it. You can he's really emotional about his pole in the video below LOL!
