The voter registration for the 2022 elections was open on October 1st 2021 and we just crossed the 100K registrations milestone today, which is higher than the 2018 elections but still relatively low.
I was expecting Lebanese expats to be much more motivated to vote this time, given what we’ve been through in the past two years, but this has not materialized yet in numbers. Nevertheless, we still have ten days to register and the aim is to get to 200K and even more!
