The first electric Lebanese car was launched in February in the cheesiest possible way, but we have yet to see a first drive. All they did in the launch was drive the car real slow and that's about it. We didn't see the interior of the car or any car details for that sake, not to mention that the venue they chose for the launch looked like an abandoned construction site without any noticeable media…

The 2020 Corruption index has marked Lebanon as highly corrupt and ranked it 149th with a score of 25/100. Other countries with a similar ranking include Iran, Guatemala, Nigeria, Mozambique and Cameroon. As far as Arab countries are concerned, UAE is the least corrupt country followed by Qatar, Oman & Saudi Arabia.
