The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 has officially hit the Lebanese market and is a major upgrade from last year’s Huawei Y7 Prime 2018. The mid-range phone, which is aimed at today’s youth, combines three key features that are hard to find in competing smartphones:
– Great Battery life: A large 4000mAh battery, up from the 3000mAh on last year’s model, that can last for more than one-day which is pretty awesome.
– Great Camera: Featuring a 13MP + 2MP dual camera system with AI support and a 16MP selfie camera, the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 provides really good pictures. Add to that the selfie-friendly features, gesture control and smile detection, as well as the aperture mode. For night shots, we’re talking 50% more light to produce clearer night-time shots with the least possible noise. Last but not least, low-light pictures are much better now with the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 and the HDR performance was enhanced as well.
– Design & Display:
If you’re interested in purchasing the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019, it comes in three striking colors: Aurora Blue, Midnight Black and Coral Red. My favorite is the Aurora Blue; you really can’t go wrong with it. Design-wise, the phone looks more like a flagship than a mid-range phone with its wide 6.26-inch Dewdrop display (86.7% screen-to TP ratio) which debuted with the flagship Huawei Mate 20 Series. Add to that the back which is coated with a polycarbonate coating for enhanced durability and scratch resistance.
In addition to all that, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core SoC, runs on EMUI 8.2, supports expandable storage of up to 512GB via the microSD card slot, has a dual-sim slot and is packed with 3 GB RAM. Playing games on the phone is quite smooth and the experience is enhanced with the improved “Do not disturb” mode. There’s also a cool feature called “Party Mode” where users can link up multiple Huawei devices to play music.
Last but least, the phone is ONLY priced at $189 TTC and there’s an offer that includes 12GB of Data over 6 months with it. If you’re considering a mid-range phone, it doesn’t get any better than that!
