I’m visiting Canada for the first time and will be spending 1 week in Montreal with my wife and kid. This is Brian’s first flight so I hope it will go smoothly and we won’t have too many people cursing at us lol! There are plenty of things to do here from what I’ve read and I’m excited to meet some old friends.

Ruebens Deli on St Catherine is my favorite restaurant in Montreal anything you order there is good. Lots of people will say shwartzs is the place for smoked meat but I disagree Ruebens is a lot better and don’t forget to order poutine while you’re there. For some great to desert there’s Juliette et Chocolat and Cocoa 70. If you’d like to try some Lebanese food in Mtl, KAZA MAZA is a pretty cool and cozy spot on ave du parc (try the kebab cerise). If you wanna try some good vegan food (aka rabbit food) there’s Lola Rosa next to McGill you can go there after visiting the uni its a little hipster. Alternatively, if you just want to eat at home you can buy some stuff from Adonis and make yourself some shai and a 3arousit Labne. 😛
