Minister Rifi asked Judge Hammoud to investigate the incident that took place in Achrafieh a couple of days ago where security guards stepped down from a convoy to assault a driver and damage his car. He also asked to bring those wrongdoers to justice but we all know that’s not going anywhere specially if the rumors are right about who was in the convoy.
In all cases, I am pretty sure the driver himself wouldn’t want to get himself involved in this mess because he’s powerless and may be harassed in the future. I believe the best Rifi can do is get the security guards or the official in question to issue a public apology for what happened, but just like everything else in this country, the case will be forgotten in a couple of weeks and won’t be raised until another convoy harasses an innocent civilian.

Public apology??? Are you serious? How about prohibiting those ridiculous show off antics once and for all? No sirens, no noise, no waving off, no threats,no pushing, no nothing… Let them get stuck in traffic like everybody else, maybe they´ll try to solve at least THAT problem ! What is the justification for such behaviour from their part? What the f**k are they late for? Another robbing session? Worried about their “sacred” physical integrity? For all I know , nobody gives a shit about that…
They could at least be the first to show some civility in the lebanese traffic jungle.

Do like i do ,close your car windows and doors ,lock them,when a convoy tries to bypass you,dont give them the opportunity and block the road ,if everyone did that ,they wouldnt be able to do anything i am not scared of anything or anyone in this country ,whoever the convoy belongs to and call the authorities on the spit ,sakker el dekkene ,lawyers ,whateverrr andd nowww we’ll see what they can do abt that
I was once at a redlight which lasted long enough and a convoy kept honkiiig like crazyyyy in front of everyone for me to pass ,i never gave them way ,it made them crazyyy,people have become disrespectful ,and i will not give them the chance to win
