The $556 million ration card program was officially launched today by the Lebanese government and a website was put in place to allow people to register. I stumbled upon this old piece of paper from 1994, with a whole page dedicated to Lebanon entering the era of electric trains, accompanied by a small map with all the train stops. The map is blurry and I couldn't find it anywhere else online but I did find a revised 2020 map of a national railway masterplan. The map was created by Train/Train, an NGO advocating for Lebanese railway rehabilitation & railway heritage preservation.…

Autism 123, Lebanon's only autism school is shutting down because of the economic crisis. The main reason behind the closure is the dollar shortage whereas the school has been unable to transfer any funds to the Boston-based institution they work with, despite several pleas to the banks.
