I’ve heard months ago about blue wine but I was never tempted to try it. The 11.5% alcohol content wine was produced by a Spanish company by combing red “and white grapes with organic pigments and flavours to produce a sweet, electric-blue wine”.
I heard recently about a Lebanese winery, Chateau Wadih, producing blue wine as well and I spotted today at Stop & Shop in Adonis a Spanish blue wine called Baronia Blue. Chateau Wadih is selling its bottles on 209lebanesewine.com
I got the bottle and I’m gonna get Chateau Wadih’s bottle and I will let you know if it tastes any good. Apparently, it’s ideal to enjoy it cold, which makes it a good summer drink. The Baronia Blue costs 26,000 while Chateau Wadih’s blue win costs $28.
